We are born in this world for a specific purpose. Even before we were conceived, GOD already had plans for each day of our lives. He ordained us to be fit for the mission he has prepared beforehand. Yet somehow, when we were raised, our Parents had dreams for us once we grow up. During the various stages of our lives, we met different people who made an impact in the way we behave towards our society.

Before, there were also advertisements which affected us in our decision making. Nowadays, it’s the social media that influenced us in our daily activities. It’s so subtle that we didn’t notice were slowly drifting away from our calling. Hence, the midlife crisis. As an excuse, they say life happens. But if we ponder enough, we’ll learn that we did not place utmost priority to the one that is essential – our quality time with our Heavenly Father.

If we’ve been spending the first hours of our day with him as soon as we wake up, everything will be aligned according to his will. We’ll be able to discern urgent versus important matters. Deadlines will be met accordingly. There will be no chaos as we will be protected and guided along the way by the Holy Spirit. The Lord will reveal to us his perfect will which is much worthy to be pursued compared to this world’s agenda.
